*WITH THE ARREST OF TWO ACTIVE ROBBERS CUM SNATCHER, TEAM PS NEW USMANPUR RECOVERED THE FOLLOWINGS*:

• *One country made Pistol Loaded With One Live Cartridge* 

• *One Button Actuated Knife*

 

• *One stolen Mobile*

 

• *One Stolen Motor Cycle KTM No. DL-9 SAQ-9899*.

On 13.12.22, a police team comprising HC Parveen, HC Vipin Giri, HC Krishan & Const. Rajiv while patrolling  in the area of PS New Usmanpur reached on main road between  4 ½ -5 pushta. At about10:00 PM, police team noticed, that two persons plying on a KTM motorcycle, seeing the police presence on road tried to return. The alert police team chased and intercepted them within short distance. On cursory search one country made pistol loaded with one live cartridge and one mobile phone were recovered from the rider later identified as   Harish Rawat @ Himanshu @ Mirgi S/o Jagat Singh R/o Soniya Vihar,  Delhi, age -24  years. One button actuated knife was also recovered from the possession of pillion rider identified as Arif S/o Fakruddin R/o Gamri Extn., Delhi, age -24 years.

On asking the ownership documents related to the motorcycle they couldn’t produce any. On detailed checking, the motorcycle No. DL-9SAQ-9899 was found to be stolen vide e-FIR No. 027601/22 u/s 379 IPC, PS Bara Hindu Rao, Delhi and the mobile phone was also found stolen vide e-FIR No. 00930/22 u/s 379 IPC, PS New Usmanpur, Delhi.  

Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 1015/22 dated 14.12.22 u/s 25 Arms Act & 102 Cr.PC, ps New Usmanpur, Delhi  was registered and investigation taken up.

During course of investigation, they disclosed their involvements in criminal cases. On sustained interrogation it surfaced that Harish Rawat @ Himanshu @ Mirgi is previously  involved in  11 case of Robbery, Snatching and Arms Act, however Arif was found to be a BC of PS Bhajanpura previously involved in 12 cases.  

Further investigation in the case is under progress.

*ARRESTED PERSONS*

• Harish Rawat @ Himanshu @ Mirgi S/o Jagat Singh R/o Soniya Vihar,  Delhi, age -24  years. He studied up to 9th class, works in collecting scrap from the streets and a drug addict. Previous Involvements-11(Robbery, Snatching and Arms Act).

 

• Arif S/o Fakruddin R/o Gamri Extn., Delhi, age -24 years. He is illiterate and works as lathe machine operator. He is a BC of PS Bhajanpura. Previous Involvements-12 (Robbery/theft/Arms Act).

*RECOVERY*

• One country made Pistol Loaded With One Live Cartridge 

• One Button Actuated Knife 

• One stolen Mobile 

• One Stolen Motor Cycle KTM No. DL-9 SAQ-9899.
