एसएसपी कुलगाम ने किया थाना कुलगाम में महिला हेल्प डेस्क का उद्घाटन

*कुलगाम* : 02 नवंबर, 2021: वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक कुलगाम *डॉ.जी.वी. संदीप चक्रवर्ती-आईपीएस ने आज थाना कुलगाम में महिला हेल्प डेस्क का उद्घाटन किया

 इस अवसर पर बोलते हुए एसएसपी कुलगाम ने कहा कि महिलाओं/लड़कियों के खिलाफ अपराध मानवाधिकारों का सबसे आक्रामक उल्लंघन है और पीड़ितों को अक्सर भावनात्मक सुन्नता का अनुभव होता है जिसके परिणामस्वरूप वह कठोर और घातक निर्णय ले सकती हैं। एसएसपी कुलगाम ने कहा कि अच्छी तरह से डिजाइन की गई महिला हेल्प डेस्क जिले में महिलाओं / लड़कियों के अधिकारों की रक्षा करने में मदद करेगी और आशा व्यक्त की कि महिला हेल्प डेस्क हिंसा का सामना करने वाली महिलाओं की जरूरतों को पूरा करेगी और महिलाओं को बिना किसी शिकायत के शिकायत दर्ज करने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करेगी।  झिझक, विशेष रूप से जघन्य अपराधों से संबंधित मामलों में।

एसएसपी कुलगाम ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया कि महिलाओं और लड़कियों के खिलाफ हिंसा को समाप्त करना सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता होनी चाहिए।  महिलाओं के खिलाफ अपराध को गंभीरता से लिया जाएगा और इसके लिए प्रभारी महिला हेल्प डेस्क को महिला जांच अधिकारियों को पीड़ित महिला/लड़की की शिकायतों से निपटने और जांच करने के लिए प्रशिक्षित करने का काम सौंपा गया है।

 इस कार्यक्रम में डीवाईएसपी मुख्यालय कुलगाम श्री *गुलाम मुहम्मद भट-जेकेपीएस*, डीएसपी डीएआर श्री *राजिंदर सिंह-जेकेपीएस* और एसएचओ कुलगाम इंस्पेक्टर *जज़ीब मोहम्मद* भी मौजूद थे।

*Kulgam* : November 02, 2021: Senior Superintendent of Police Kulgam *Dr.G.V Sundeep Chakravarthy-IPS today inaugurated  Women Help Desk in Police Station Kulgam

Speaking on the occasion SSP Kulgam said that  Crime against women/girls is the most aggressive violation of human rights  and that the victims often experience a sense of emotional numbness that could result in her taking drastic and fatal decisions.

SSP Kulgam said that the well designed  Women help desk will help in protecting the rights of the women/girls in the district and expressed hope that the Women Help Desk would cater to the needs of women who face violence and encourage women to file complaints without any hesitation, especially in cases relating to heinous crimes.

SSP Kulgam directed the officers that ending violence against women and girls has to be the top priority. Crime against women shall be taken seriously and for this In-charge Women Help Desk has been tasked to train lady investigation officers to deal and investigate the complaints of women/girl victim.

The event was also witnessed by DySP HQR Kulgam Shri *Ghulam Muhamad Bhat-JKPS*, DySP DAR Shri *Rajinder Singh-JKPS*  & SHO Kulgam Insp *Jazib Mohammad*.
