 मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी नीति आयोग ने पहलगाम का दौरा किया, पर्यटन अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक की अध्यक्षता की

 अनंतनाग 16 अक्टूबर: नीति आयोग के प्रमुख अमिताभ कांत ने आज पहलगाम के पर्यटन स्थल का दौरा किया, जहां उन्होंने पर्यटन अधिकारियों की एक बैठक की अध्यक्षता की। सीईओ को यूटी में पर्यटन क्षेत्र के विकास के लिए रणनीति, प्रगति और उठाए गए कदमों के बारे में बताया गया।

सचिव पर्यटन सरमद हफीज ने एक पावर प्वाइंट प्रेजेंटेशन प्रस्तुत किया जिसमें उपलब्धियों, पर्यटकों को आकर्षित करने के लिए उपयोग की जाने वाली रणनीतियों और यूटी में नए पर्यटन स्थलों के विकास के बारे में विस्तार से चर्चा की गई।  सचिव ने सीईओ को अवगत कराया कि विभिन्न स्थानों पर गर्मी और सर्दियों के त्योहारों का आयोजन, धार्मिक स्थलों और सूफी मंदिरों में पर्यटन उत्सव, फूड फेस्टिवल का आयोजन, प्रिंट और डिजिटल मीडिया में व्यापक प्रचार, रोड शो, वीकेंड फेस्टिवल, डेस्टिनेशन बेस्ड फेस्टिवल,  आदि केन्द्र शासित प्रदेशों में पर्यटकों की भीड़ को बढ़ावा देने के लिए लिया जा रहा है।  उन्होंने कहा कि विभाग द्वारा कई क्षमता निर्माण कार्यक्रम संचालित किए गए हैं।  और कई सलाहकार और इवेंट मैनेजमेंट कंपनियों को यूटी की पर्यटक क्षमता को साकार करने के उद्देश्य से लगाया गया है।  सचिव ने सीईओ को पीएमडीपी द्वितीय और प्रसाद परियोजनाओं की मंजूरी, पहलगाम और शिवखारी के लिए नई रोपवे परियोजनाओं की मंजूरी और बीएडीपी के तहत सीमा पर्यटन के लिए विशेष पैकेज जैसे कुछ मुद्दों से भी अवगत कराया।अमिताभ कांत ने पर्यटन विभाग के अधिकारियों के साथ बातचीत करते हुए कहा कि जम्मू-कश्मीर में पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए विभाग को फिल्म उद्योग को सुरम्य स्थानों पर शूटिंग के लिए आमंत्रित करना चाहिए, प्रचार के लिए सोशल मीडिया का अधिकतम उपयोग करना चाहिए, उच्च मूल्य वाले पर्यटन पर ध्यान केंद्रित करना चाहिए और पर्यटन को आमंत्रित करना चाहिए।  विशेषज्ञ अपने अनुभव साझा करेंगे।  पर्यटन स्थलों की व्यावसायिक फोटोग्राफी, पर्यटन क्षेत्रों में सेवाओं की आउटसोर्सिंग, अत्याधुनिक सुविधाएं प्रदान करना आदि कश्मीर के पर्यटन को एक अंतरराष्ट्रीय रूप दे सकते हैं।  उन्होंने पर्यटन विभाग के कार्य की सराहना करते हुए विभाग को सरकार की ओर से पूर्ण सहयोग का आश्वासन दिया। इससे पहले दिन में उपायुक्त अनंतनाग डॉ पीयूष सिंगला और एसएसपी अनंतनाग आशीष मिश्रा सहित जिला प्रशासन के अन्य अधिकारियों ने खानाबल में सीईओ का जोरदार स्वागत किया.  अमिताभ कांत के साथ सचिव पर्यटन सरमद हफीज, निदेशक पर्यटन जीएन इटू, एमडी पर्यटन फखरुद्दीन, निदेशक योजना पर्यटन, सीईओ पहलगाम, एसडीएम पहलगाम, एडी पर्यटन और अन्य संबंधित अधिकारी मौजूद थे।

Anantnag October 16: NITI Aayog chief Amitabh Kant today visited the tourist destination of pahalgam where he chaired a meeting of tourism officers.The CEO was informed about the strategy , progress, and steps taken for development  of tourism sector in the UT. Secretary  tourism Sarmad Hafeez presented a power point presentation detailing achievements, strategies being employed to attract tourists and development of new tourist destinations in the UT followed by a threadbare discussion on the same. The secretary apprised the CEO that several steps like organising summer and winter festivals at various locations, tourist festivals at religious places and sufi shrines, conducting food festivals, widespread publicity in print and digital media, conducting road shows, weekend festivals, destination based festivals, etc are being taken to boost the tourist footfall in the UT. He said that several capacity building programmes have been conducted by the deptt. and several consultants and event management companies have been engaged aimed at realizing the tourist potential of the UT. The Secretary also apprised the CEO about some issues like sanction of PMDP 2nd and PRASAD projects, sanction of new ropeway projects for Pahalgam and Shivkhari and special package for border tourism under BADP.

Amitabh Kant, while interacting with officers of the tourism department said that for promotion of  tourism in Jammu and Kashmir the department should invite the film industry for shooting in picturesque locations, maximise usage of social media for publicity, focus on high value tourism and invite tourism experts to share their experiences. Professional photography of tourist destinations, outsourcing of services in tourist areas, providing state of the art facilities, etc can give the tourism of Kashmir an international look. Appreciating the work of tourism department, he assured the department full support from the government. 

Earlier in the day, the CEO was given a warm welcome by Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Dr Piyush Singla and SSP Anantnag Ashish Mishra alongwith other officials of district administration at Khanabal . Amitabh Kant was accompanied by Secretary tourism Sarmad Hafeez, Director tourism G.N Itoo, MD Tourism Fakhruddin, Director Planning Tourism , CEO pahalgam, SDM Pahalgam, AD tourism and other concerned officers.
